    In an ideal world, every time we shop for anything—from women-owned brands or not—we’d have full understanding of companies and their values, where each thing is made and by whom, and anything else that would make us feel okay about spending our money. Even more ideal: companies would always be transparent about the cost of production, and supply-chain details would be crystal clear. The actual world is, obviously, imperfect, as are all of us.
