If adversity was baloney, the Brandon Wheat Kings would be making sandwiches for everybody. The team lost around 225 man games to injury this season, and a couple dozen more to other absences like world juniors. Still, they managed to compile a 38-23-4-3 record despite playing multiple nights with a short bench bolstered by callups.
