I'd take this offer ASAP. Invest the $ in an S&P Index Fund. Don't touch is for 30 years. At 65, that's $2.5 million. If I wait until 70, that's $3.7 million. With an average return of 8% (less than the S&P average of 10%, so I'm being conservative here). #CompoundInterest
I still don’t understand why no one is taking the social security buyout idea seriously. Offer every new retiree and anyone under the age of 75 $250K lump sum tax free. If 10M people take it, it’ll reduce the deficit by $5T over a decade.
