Rep. Eli Crane voted for a Republican budget resolution on April 10 that he had previously dismissed as “pathetic” because of how it will likely increase the federal deficit. The vote came shortly after Crane held a tele-town hall for voters in District 2 on April 9. In that town hall, he praised House leadership’s commitment to lowering the nation’s $36 trillion debt, but said he couldn’t make any promises about how things would resolve.
