    Commuters at Moss Vale Station will soon benefit from improved accessibility, with two lifts opening for the first time at the heritage-listed railway station. The lifts, located at each end of the existing Argyle Street footbridge, will begin operating on Thursday 17 April when the footbridge reopens.

    A man has died on the state’s South Coast after being pulled unresponsive from the surf. Emergency services were called to Gannet Beach at Bawley Point, shortly before 4pm yesterday (Wednesday 16 April 2025), after a man was found unresponsive in the water by two surfers. They brought the man to shore and commenced CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; however, the 54-year-old man was unable to be revived.
