QUINCY ‒ A husband and wife from Braintree have been indicted by the Statewide Grand Jury on charges they operated unlicensed casinos in Quincy and Boston's Chinatown, according to Andrea Campbell. The grand jury handed down 15 indictments against Xue Tan Zheng, 50, and Xiu Rong Li, 55, both of Braintree.

Six 10-person crews raced against time to drag a 21,000-pound iconic Duck Boat over a distance of 60 feet. Chambers' companies allegedly sought loans exceeding program limits despite his corporate entity already receiving over $20 million. A whistleblower will receive nearly $1.9 million of the settlement.
