Article by guest author Peter BrookerWhen and where can I wear a boating suit and get away with it? Sure if you live on the lake then you can get away with wearing just about anything. (PS - That's not me by the way, I just happened to be passing a lake that day). Firstly, I think I've invented the term "boating suit." I've been looking around online and all I can find is a boating jacket. Which is really just a halfway house.

Article by guest author Peter BrookerToday I wanted to show off my latest purchase, this Tablecloth Short Sleeve camp collar shirt I bought at a Strip Mall in Winter Park. I've been fascinated with brands that make shirts either based on tablecloths or designs that look like they'd best be suited covering a dinner table than a man's back. In all honesty, if there was any way I could get away with wearing these kinds of shirts and nothing else I would.

Article by guest author Peter BrookerI bought a terry cloth towelling polo the other day. The other half thought it was dreadful, "It's a fabric for newborns, not grown men." She slated. Eventually after I sequestered her into a photo shoot she came round. Admitting that she was not wrong in her assumption, but that this particular polo works. I think mainly because I bought it with the idea that I need more pale blue in my collection.

Article by guest author Peter BrookerThe last stop on the Princess Cruise was to Cartagena in Columbia. The promenade is peppered with colourful flowers in concrete housing, before it angles left into an animal sanctuary where one meets the gold and blue Macaws, Red Macaws, Flamingos, turtles and even an Albino Peacock. We haggled 60 bucks for a trip to the Caribe Jewelry Factory, then to the old town then back to the port.

Article by guest author Peter BrookerOne of the first stops off the Princess Cruise ship out of Long Beach was Huatulco (pronounced wah-tool-co) , a relatively undiscovered Cruise Port. Located on the Pacific Coast in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Unlike all other cruises we decided not to book any excursions through Princess, instead opting to try our luck when we came into port.
