Quite a turnaround from all involved! When the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat completed the Jimmy Butler trade in early February, both teams were floundering in difficult and uninspiring situations. The Warriors quickly surged with Butler to rise up the Western Conference standings and secure the seventh-seed, but the Heat continued to fall into a deeper hole and finished the regular season as the 10th-seed in the East with a 37-45 record.

Back to the Sacramento of old... The Sacramento Kings are a team back in disarray right now, having suffered Play-In elimination at the hands of former Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday. This needs to improve... The Warriors may not officially start their playoff campaign until Monday, but their last two outings have essentially been played with the same urgency.

Golden State made a mistake... As the Golden State Warriors secured a playoff spot with victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night, Jonathan Kuminga was again a non-factor in his second-straight DNP as Steve Kerr finds his postseason rotation. Kuminga's time with the Warriors appears to be nearing its conclusion, albeit things could turn around if Kerr believes he needs the young forward's size and athleticism against the Houston Rockets in the first-round.

A key element to Playoff Jimmy... Playoff Jimmy arrived early for the Golden State Warriors in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday night, with the 6x All-Star leading his new team to the seventh-seed in a 121-116 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Chase Center. Butler was everywhere particularly through the first three-quarters, helping himself to 34 points and eventually finishing with 38 on 12-of-20 shooting to go with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in 40 minutes of playing time.

Jaxson Hayes playing fourth-quarter minutes is wild 🤣

Draymond loved Jacob Evans too… Nah but for real I could get on board 🤷🏻♂️

JJJ to the Warriors. Draymond loves JJJ and he can play both PF and C for us. Also he’s extension eligible and who knows if Memphis wants to pay him or not

Player empowerment really is huge…

Mikal Bridges got traded for 5 1s and Jimmy Butler for 1. Context be damned that is an insane comparison
