While this blog is almost entirely focused on football, its title — “Just a game?” — has never felt more fitting than after the iconic events at Augusta. Sport is a fascinating paradox. It shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of things — and yet, somehow, it does. It often reflects society for good and bad, it brings people together, and it tells us stories. I can’t recall a story quite like what we saw on Sunday, though.

A Harrisburg man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, terrorism, and aggravated arson after allegedly breaking into the official residence of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro early Sunday and setting it on fire while the governor and his family were inside.
