EDF Renewables UK is proud to announce the successful operation of its first solar farm in the UK, which began generating clean, renewable energy last year, and the start of the community benefit fund for local organisations. The 49.9 MW Sutton Bridge solar farm, located in Lincolnshire is capable of generating enough low carbon electricity for the domestic needs of more than 9,000 households annually[1].

Hynamics, a 100% subsidiary of EDF Group specialising in hydrogen, and EDF Renewables UK have been successful in being shortlisted for the government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 2 (HAR2) for phase two of their Tees Green Hydrogen project. This is the second time the project has received backing from government, with phase one of Tees Green Hydrogen awarded in Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 (HAR1) in 2023.
