DF95 Autumn Series event 65 at East Kent Radio Sailing Club

With ice, fog and no wind forecast eleven DF95 skippers still made Barton's Point Country Park in Sheppey. Ralph Wilkinson was race officer and Jim LaRoche took the photos.
At least the sun kept the frost away, and ten races were completing in the very light shifty conditions before, for the first time in recent history, the lake surface took on a mirror finish.

DF95 Autumn Series event 2 at East Kent Radio Sailing Club

Under grey skies and rain (and at the top of A rig range) normal service was resumed on Kents Isle of Sheppey with Dave Adams' return to form, winning race 1, from Peter Jackson and Adrian Tomlison.
Adrian replied with a win in race 2 from Dave and Mike Brand, and battle continued.

DF95 EKRFC Summer Series Event 9 at Barton's Point Country Park, Sheppey

With wind from over the cafe and a 12 boat fleet the Bartons Point 'TT' course was used, with B rigs for 3 races, then A rigs. Mike Brand (875) won race 1 from the returning B rig maestro Adrian Tomlinson (30) and newbie Rob Maunder (571).
Dave Adams (358) then recovered with 2 of 5 wins, all in the first 7 races, to build a lead.

Ten DF95s had perfect A rig conditions on return to Sheppey after a 3 week break. The battle at the front was immediately joined by Dave Adams and Mike Brand, both getting 2 wins, Mike with new black sails.

DF95 Summer Series Event 6 at East Kent Radio Sailing Club Overall

Eleven DF95's including two new East Kent members braved boisterous B rig conditions at Barton's Point Sheppey on the 8th of August. Dave Adams returned from a break to win race 1 under A rig, but soon all changed down to Bs.
Adrian Tomlinson's mastery of the B rig then showed as he won the next four races, with Dave, Spencer Pope and Alan Hounsell taking seconds.

Event 4 of the East Kent Radio Sailing Club DragonForce 95 Summer Series was a close scrap between the top few entries for all 13 races. As usual Sheppey's tree-free surrounds allowed more wind than forecast, on the cusp of A and B rigs. The direction was down the longest reach of the lake, throwing up a steep chop.

Event 2 of the East Kent Radio Sailing Club's DF95 Summer Series was held mainly in light and very shifty conditions, but in rare sunshine! Over 18 races six skippers made it onto the podium, but three dominated.
Mike Brand, Alan Hounsell and Peter Jackson each won two races of the first six.

A new musical inspired by the music and songs by Prince (2958-2016) has been greenlighted by Universal Pictures. The movie is still without an official title and will be produced by Ryan Coogler through his company Proximity Media. Zinzi Cooper and Sev Ohanian will be working at this upcoming project as producers together with Jody Gerson (CEO at Universal Music Publishing Group), while Rebecca Cho will figure as executive producer.
