Amazon Prime has announced a second season of their adult animated comedy The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy is on a collision course with Earth and will make impact by the end of the month. And yes, I said second season. If you didn’t know there was a first season, neither did I, but there’s apparently been a sci-fi cartoon with the voices of Natasha Lyonne and Maya Rudolph in it all this time. And despite the complete lack of attention, it’s managed to land a second chance.

The Spirit is back. Infuse Studio and Silver Lining Interactive present Spirit of the North 2, the sequel to their third-person adventure game, which they describe as “the Stray of fox games!” In an enchanted land inspired by Nordic folklore, the malevolent shaman Grimnir has cast a deadly curse over everything (though it still looks darn pretty). You are a brave fox imbued with the spirits of the wild, tasked with journeying across the land on a quest to unravel the curse.

What’s with the extremely long wait between seasons of streaming shows? In the case of most of them, who knows, but in the case of Max’s Peacemaker, there’s a valid excuse: in between seasons 1 and 2, showrunner James Gunn was given the keys to the entire DC Cinematic Universe. That task has kept him very busy, but it looks like he finally had time to deliver on the promise he made back in 2022: a second season of Peacemaker is on the way.

Who says the foul-mouthed teddy bear from Boston is all washed up? Ted seems to have a more vibrant career now than ever — soon he’ll be adding an animated series to his work history. “Isn’t there already a Ted TV show?” you might be asking. And yep, there is: it’s on Peacock, it’s live-action and it’s a prequel to the movies. Apparently it wasn’t enough: this animated version, just announced today, will also be on Peacock and it will take place after Ted 2.
