There were a lot of Star Wars announcements this morning, and it wasn’t even May the 4th. Take any theatrical announcement from Lucasfilm with a grain of salt (those things always collapse) but their track record for completing animated projects is 100% so far, so we can say with confidence we’ll probably see Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord next year.

One of Marvel Studios’ big challenges will be reintroducing the Fantastic Four as part of the MCU after the public has seen several non-adjacent versions already. To pull that off, the “official” version is going to have to make a bigger impression, and they have several ideas on how to do that. For one thing, it’s a different setting than the previous films — it’s in the past. It might not even be the main MCU timeline (we’ll have to ask the TVA about that).

Chances are, if you visit sites like this, the name Genndy Tartakovsky needs no introduction to you. Most animation fans adore the man for his talent on display in creations like Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, and Primal (and I didn’t think Unicorn: Warriors Eternal was that bad either). But there’s a Tartakovsky movie you’ve never seen before, and we don’t mean the Popeye project that never got off the ground.

Solo Leveling now has two seasons in the can, and for those who’ve been waiting for any kind of physical media release, Crunchyroll has taken their time, but it’s finally happening. The complete Season 1 of the series will be released on shiny Blu-Ray this summer, fully furnished with extras. How many extras you get, though, depends on the box. Solo Leveling Season 1 will be released in both a Standard and a Collector’s Edition.

Last November, voice actress Pamela Hayden made the surprise announcement that she was retiring effective immediately, and that her last performance of her signature character, Milhouse Van Houten, would air that Sunday. Hayden became the first major Simpsons VA to officially retire from the show…the list is long at this point, but most have left through dying.
