The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office recently uncovered a severe hoarding situation while serving an eviction notice and called the Kearney Area animal shelter for help.

The Rochelle Lee Morris Splash Pad is now ready for the public following a grand opening and ribbon-cutting event Wednesday evening. The new outdoor aquatic entertainment is located outside the Kearney Family YMCA and will serve the entire Kearney community thanks to a partnership with the city.
