RentCafe’s annual report on apartment living shows some communities are seeing apartment square footage increase for the first time in years. But maybe not yours. Tallahassee, Fla.; Gainesville, Fla.; Baton Rouge, La.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Marietta, Ga., topped the list of cities with the largest apartments. If you live in Tallahassee, you’re getting an average new apartment size of 1,130 square feet.

Christmas, as we know, is always December 25th. But Thanksgiving is always the fourth Thursday of November—a date that floats sometimes as early as November 22nd… or this year… the latest it could possibly be, which was November 28th. On a recent Saturday morning, dozens of people lined up, many wearing plastic gloves with carts nearby, waiting to begin. Yellow barriers were placed around the area to keep people back. Everyone took their positions. Then all at once, BOOM, they made a run for it. But this wasn’t a marathon or any other kind of traditional race. It was all for the Bins. And we had a front-row seat to watch it all.
