Dearest readers,Have you heard? Skinny jeans are “back,” and so are flares. It’s been a while since I’ve worn either, so last month, just for fun, I tried on a pair of high-rise skinny kick flares (phew, that’s a mouthful). Sensory memory is a powerful thing. It’s as if every cell in my body immediately recognized the sensation of pulling up a skinny jean and, within seconds, my brain was flooded with the not-so-positive thoughts I had about my body at the time.
