DIRECTV has launched a new customer rewards program called ‘DIRECTV Perks’ which will offer monthly sweepstakes, weekly instant-win games, and physical and digital benefits such as discounts on movie tickets and other merchandise. The program is available to residential customers of DIRECTV’s satellite and streaming services, but not DIRECTV Stream.

How does Dolby Vision work? If it’s not 4K, how does it make the picture any better? — Charles, Lima, Ohio. Charles, that’s a great question. Max this week announced that it will offer all live sports, including NBA, NHL and MLB games, in Dolby Vision. However, that does not mean the broadcasts will be in 4K.
