My way or the highway seems to be the war cry of all hardline members of all faiths be they Christian, Muslim or any other group. His Holiness the Dalai Lama who describes his role as a conduit for all sentient human beings to connect with one another, favours and promotes love peace and acceptance between all human beings regardless of individualism.

    | Published 11m agoFinance Minister Enoch Godongwana nearly gave us a fright last week Wednesday. He thought he had found an easy way to fund a bloated and profligate government: tax the poor to feed the rich! Without a thought for the embattled consumer he wanted to hit the nation with a 2% VAT increase. But the DA and the other parties in the GNU were incensed and shot him down at the last minute. The budget was postponed and we all breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Annually the world comes together to celebrate World Wetlands Day on 02 February to highlight the importance of wetlands and to advocate for their protection and preservation.
