What suddenly killed Atta Mills, Amissah-Arthur and Rawlings? On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, Professor Evans Atta Mills, Ghana’s third President of the Fourth Republic died and the whole nation was in shocks especially mindful of his peaceful personality and the fact that he was the first time sitting President of Ghana to have died in during his tenure. His death was a huge blow to the nation.

Mr. Amoako-Atta, one may arguably describe you as the longest serving Minister of Roads and Highways in the Fourth Republic of Ghana. Quite recently in November 2023 thereabout, a family at Kanda Estate was physically attacked and robbed at dawn at about 4:30am and their house almost demolished. In fact, there was a significant damage to the walls of the house number 122.E43/9, 3rd Mole Street, Kanda Estate. I later gleaned that the occupants of the said almost demolished house are called the Marconi Family and Mr. Marconi is a pastor so he operates his church, Charisma House Chapel International at the foyer of the house.

In my childhood, we celebrated Christmas in very meek but joyous ways. We built our Christmas hamlets or huts mostly with palm branches and decorated them with plentiful of beautiful flowers nature itself availed to us in that Lukunu village of my father within the Mepe Traditional Area. Fresh palm wine was equally plentiful for the yuletide celebrations.
