I review the best camera phones, but I recently bought myself a dedicated camera. I carry a Galaxy S25 Ultra and an iPhone 16 Pro daily, yet I just bought a camera that's intentionally simpler. My phones boast optical zoom up to 5X and digital reach well beyond that. I chose a camera with a fixed lens and a field of view slightly wider than my natural vision.

The New York Botanical Garden in New York City is hosting its annual orchid show, so I brought my favorite camera phones and my own dedicated camera to see how these phones perform.

(Image credit: Future / Lance Ulanoff)What if we're considering the Apple Intelligence problem backwards? Apple’s AI plans seem to be in shambles. It over-promised on upcoming iPhone features, partnered with questionable third party AI providers, and failed to deliver for so long that it's been forced to change plans entirely. There’s even a lawsuit threat. We can blame Apple's leadership and question its commitment, but I think the problem isn't with Apple at all. The problem is with AI.

I signed up for Twitter way back when I never signed up for Elon Musk's "X" Cheap jabroni can't even pay for a proper logo or URL Peace, Twitter, I'll be on everything else until something big changes (and changes back)

F X Whatever, Twitter can die, something new will pop up I been doing this same exact online no-face community messaging since 1990, on the local BBS Same trash-talk, same romances People need this, and they'll find it again But seriously, F X
