Full Bucket Music has introduced Six-Traq, a free virtual instrument, based on the Sequential Circuits Six-Trak synthesizer from 1984. The developer says that Six-Traq offers a close emulation of the original, but expands on it with up to 96-voice polyphony, micro-tuning and other modern features.

Behringer today shared another preview of their upcoming Enigma synthesizer, designed to be an inexpensive, unofficial copy of the classic Buchla 208 Stored Program Sound Source. The Buchla 208 is the voice of the classic Buchla Music Easel from 1972. The Music Easel pairs the 208 with the 218 Touch Keyboard in a suitcase-style case. Modern reissues of the 208 are available from Buchla USA. The Behringer Enigma is not a straight clone of the original 208.

Behringer today shared this preview of their new UB-1 Micro Analog Synthesizer, which they say is ‘the little brother of the UB-Xa’. They say it has the same sound, analog circuitry and full MIDI. Details are still to be announced, but it looks like it an update version of the Behringer UB-1 Spirit. Pricing and Availability:The Behringer UB-1 Micro Analog Synthesizers is expected to be priced at $49 USD. They aren’t saying when it will be available at this time.

Behringer shared this image of a shipping pallet, stacked with boxes of their upcoming Syncussion SY-1 synthesizer, an unofficial copy of the Pearl Syncussion SY-1. The company didn’t share any comment other than ‘Getting ready…”, but it appears that the Behringer Syncussion Sy-1 is now in production. The original Syncussion is a 2-channel analog drum synth, designed to be triggered by drum pads and used as part of a drum kit.
