Terrorism is the use of violence or threats of violence to intimidate or coerce, especially for political or ideological purposes. It often targets civilians or non-combatants to create fear, advance a political agenda, or achieve specific goals. When an American thinks of a terrorist attack the date of September 11, 2001, comes to mind.

As An Austin Film Festival Placing Screenwriter, I want others to know that it is okay to feel defeated. The very first screenplay I ever wrote placed in the quarter finals of The Austin Film Festival. It tells the story of a gay Broadway star who goes on a mission back to his hometown to gain the one thing he does not have, which is the love and acceptance of his family. I have lost numerous friends from the LGBTQ community to abuse and suicide.

One thing the French know how to do is revel in freedom with a free spirit. The opening ceremony of the Olympics was dramatic, theatrical and intense. Gojira rocked out to become the first ever metalcore/deathcore band to perform during an Olympic opening ceremony. Replicas of the fated Marie Antionette were within the windows of the Conciergerie, which was the residence of French kings in medieval times. It became a prison during the French Revolution.

Hypocrisy has never been so bold. Nearly 2,000 Children have been killed or injured since the escalation of war in Ukraine because of Russia. Nearly 20,000 Palestinian children killed, thousands more rotting under the rubble and thousands more unaccounted for because of Israel. Future predicted death tolls will be in the millions if there is not a ceasefire, hence why the majority of people are referring to this not as a war, but a genocide.

Corey D. Comperatore, a father, firefighter and civilian was killed by the bullet meant for Donald Trump. To say God had his hand on Trump is disrespecful to Corey's family. Growing up within the neighborhoods, roads and churches of the south, I learned at a very early age that there was alot about deeply religious "christians" that just does not make any sense. The behavior of those around me who celebrated as The United States bombed Afghanistan when I was a child disturbed me.

The year 2020 was a bizarre one, for not only The United States, but the world as well. I was in a rut one night that year feeling hopeless. I needed some serious inspiration. I turned my television on and decided to play Hamilton not knowing that after I saw it I would be inspired beyond belief. This was the only musical I had ever seen which caused me to sit in silence through tears, and a new found hope, for several minutes after the curtain call.
