JERICHO — 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Route 15 in Jericho. Led by the Rev. Dr. Arnold Isidore Thomas, the church is a mainstay of the community and is at the forefront of efforts to promote equity and inclusion. Good Shepherd was founded in 1971 to serve residents of Jericho and Underhill. On March 18, 1973, it celebrated its formal beginning as a congregation with a Service of Organization.
