Canadian investment group Sagard has taken a stake in French secondaries specialist Bex Capital as it bolsters its offering for high-net-worth investors. The acquisition will allow the former – which has $27bn in assets under management (AUM) – to expand into fund-of-funds secondaries. When the deal is completed in the coming weeks, Bex Capital ($2bn of AUM) will be co-branded with Sagard.
