1 Introduction Neural Crest Stem cells (NC) is a transient and migratory population of stem cells that arise from the junction of the neuronal and non-neuronal ectoderm, namely the Neural Plate Border.[1, 2] After neurulation, during formation of the neural tube, the neural folds of the ectoderm converge at the dorsal midline.
