1. IntroductionSurgical processes, while being a significant revenue source for hospitals, are also associated with considerable expenses. For example, the need for specialised surgical equipment and trained personnel can lead to high operational costs, while the procedures themselves can be major revenue drivers through insurance reimbursements and patient payments [1,2]. This dual nature requires the standardisation of surgical processes to balance cost efficiency [3,4].

AbstractDrug exposure during pregnancy lacks global fetal safety data. The maternal drug exposure birth cohort (DEBC) study, a prospective longitudinal investigation, aims to explore the correlation of maternal drug exposure during pregnancy with pregnancy outcomes, and establish a human biospecimen biobank. Here we describe the process of establishing DEBC and show that the drug exposure rate in the first trimester of pregnant women in DEBC (n = 112,986) is 30.70%.

Jun 20·· 這本書的作者岸政彥是立命館大學研究所先端綜合學術研究科教授，研究專業是沖繩、生活史、社會調查方法論等等，也是入圍芥川獎及三島由紀夫獎等大獎。這本書得到了第6回紀伊國屋人文大賞TOP 1，這本書是2021年出版的，但其中的內容在今日一點也不會過時。 這本書主要由岸政彥在田野調查中所遇到、人生當中的不期而遇、小時候的故事體悟等，所連接而成的隨筆集，他在大量田野中遇到了各式各樣不同的人生樣貌，有貓咪、酒店公關、黑道、流浪漢、部落民.....，也有大量從中延伸出的感悟或是對生命的無意義抱持好奇與欣賞。岸政彥不為這些他遇到的生命「代言」，也不太以大方向詮釋這些生命成為一個群體，在書中可以很明顯感受到他認為自己就算做了研究，對於如何以最少傷害方式呈現調查故事是很有顧慮的；因為不論怎樣的故事、怎樣的敘述方式，都有一些人能夠因之獲得救贖，但其他人可能因此得到傷害，不能不說這其中一定包含了些暴力的成分。 「人真的很害怕把彼此，赤裸裸地放在對方眼前」------岸政彥...
