For the second year running, producer/DJ Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, is hosting a May weekender at the Under the K Bridge park in Greenpoint. And this year happens to coincide with my birthday, which inspired me to procure Dada Strain readers a discount code for both dates. If you’re interested, read on. A reminder that on Wednesday (5/7) evening, Dada Strain is test-driving a new album-pre-release series, Social Listening, debuting History Dog’sRoot Systems, at Port Sa’id in Manhattan. History Dog is a coming together of four Bklyn-based, improvising smarties, Shara Lunon, Chris Williams, Luke Stewart and Lesley Mok, and the electrifying album they recorded (officially out Friday 5/9 on Otherly Love) is an unyielding musical response to our moment in time.
