SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division Speaking to Kevin Doherty several times in recent years in pre-season, he made it known that one of the first things, after games against Dundalk, that he’d look for in the fixture release were the Friday-Monday combos. The demands placed on the club saw Drogheda lose the majority of their Monday fixtures, understandably. Now as a full-time team, the first of these combos is upon us and it’s slightly ironic that Drogheda are at home for both games.
