Large conventional radio interferometers such as the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA) or the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) can routinely provide astrometric measurements with an accuracy of the order of 10 milliarcsec (mas–Loinard 2002; Rodríguez et al. 2003a; Chandler et al. 2005; Loinard et al. 2007; Dzib et al. 2017; Hernández-Gómez et al. 2019; Maureira et al. 2020).
