ભુજઃ તાજેતરમાં અમેરિકાએ ભારતમાં મહિલાઓએ એકલા યાત્રા ન કરવા માટે એક પરિપત્ર બહાર પાડ્યો હતો ત્યારે દેશભરમાં તેના ઘેરા પ્રત્યાઘાત પડ્યા હતા, પરંતુ દેશભરમાં બનતી ઘટનાઓ આપણને પણ એ વિચારતા કરી મૂકે છે ક શું ખરેખર આપણો દેશ મહિલાઓ માટે સુરક્ષિત છે. એક તરફ કોલકાત્તામાં યુનિવિર્સિટી કેમ્પસમાં વિદ્યાર્થિની સાથે દુષ્કૃત્ય થયાના અહેવાલો વિચલિત કરે છે ત્યારે સીમાવર્તી કચ્છ જિલ્લામાં સામે આવેલા ત્રણ શરમજનક બનાવોથી ભારે ચકચાર પ્રસરી છે.
