A man was left shocked after finding out he had been charged more than £800 for a bottle of water in south London corner shop. Samuel Ompreon, 24, had popped into the store in Kennington with a friend to get a drink. But after paying for the regular one litre bottle of Evian, his friend was quickly stopped in his tracks after seeing a banking notification pop up on his phone. The notification showed he had been charged an eye-watering £801.70 for the drink.
