The main issue pertained to the difficulty in laying a pipeline of 2,500 mm diameter from Paithan to the outskirts. The difficulty arose because the main pipeline was supposed to pass very close to existing 900 mm and 1,200 mm diameter pipelines.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dnyaneshwari Anjan, a lawyer from Sangao village in Beed's Ambajogai taluka, who was allegedly assaulted by the village sarpanch and nine others for protesting against noise pollution on April 14, was admitted to the Beed govt hospital on Saturday. Reacting to the allegations of some villagers, who accused her of faking the injuries, the 36-year-old lawyer has sought an in-camera medical investigation. Police, however, said her injuries did not appear fake.
