The Jawa 42 has been thoroughly updated for 2024, with new prices, new colours, but more importantly, significant changes to the powertrain, cycle parts and exhaust system, as well as mild changes to design and ergonomics. Prices have been revised too, with a slightly lower starting price than before, making it Rs.16,000 more affordable than before. The iconic BSA Motorcycle brand will make its India debut on August 15, 2024, with the introduction of the new BSA Gold Star 650. It’s still not known how Classic Legends Private Limited (CLPL), which has formed a joint venture for the BSA brand, intends to market the BSA brand, but we expect prices to be announced on August 15, with deliveries beginning later in the year.

The new BSA Gold Star 650 will make its India debut on August 15, 2024, also introducing the iconic British motorcycle brand in India. Revived and resurrected by Classic Legends, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, the BSA brand will make its debut as a 50:50 joint venture with Tube Investments of India Limited, a part of Murugappa Group. While the new BSA Gold Star 650 made its global debut in 2021, and is already on sale in Europe, it’s now that the Goldie will be introduced in India.
