Starting this weekend, some of the Coventry city centre car parks will be cheaper for the next three months. From Saturday, April 19, visitors to the city will pay just £2.50 between 7am and 6pm at specific car parks. There have been many changes around the city centre's car parks, many of which are closing due to the City Centre South development. A new car park opened in August 2024 on New Union Street, as the old multi-storey car park was dubbed an 'eyesore' and 'very neglected'.

Turtle Bay in Coventry received the top prize for the second year running in the 'Best Bar None' accreditation. The city's hospitality sector came together at Drapers Hall in the city centre to celebrate their work in providing safe experiences for customers. Best Bar None is an accreditation scheme supported by the Home Office and the drinks industry that aims to improve standards in licensed premises. This year, 14 venues in Coventry received the accreditation.
