On 15 October, parliamentary elections were held in Poland, in which Poles "elected" 460 members of the Sejm and 100 members of the Senate (the quotation marks result from the author's lack of faith in bourgeois elections, who calls the system not democracy, but electoralism.) In his radio show, one of the popular Polish journalists called the elections "extraordinary" because each party believed that they won.

A bomb targeting the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazal) JUI-F party's vehicle in Mastung, some 50 kilometers from Quetta, on Thursday, left at least 11 people hurt, including the party's leader Hafiz Hamdullah. In order to address a public gathering, Hamdullah traveled from Quetta to the Killi Chotu region, a community on the outskirts of Mastung, when the blast occurred, according to officials. His vehicle was badly damaged by the explosion.

Former senator and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah on Thursday survived a bomb attack that left him, among 11, injured. The incident occurred when Hamdullah travelled from Quetta to Kalat via Mastung. Videos recorded immediately after the attack showed Hamdullah, bleeding from his nose, being helped into a car by two of his guards, one of whom also had blood splattered across his face.
