Literature ReviewTraditionally, the literature on supply contracts has primarily focused on pricing mechanisms and quantity agreements within supplier–retailer supply chains operating in a make-to-order (MTO) environment. In this context, coordinated contracts generally involve mechanisms that allow the supplier to share some of the risks associated with uncertain demand, thereby enabling the retailer to increase their order quantity.
