1 IntroductionAssistive robots have long been introduced into the field of rehabilitation. Despite the contentious progression of inflexible robots, these machines still suffer from numerous limitations that prove challenging to overcome. These limitations primarily stem from the materials utilized in their construction, which possess a substantial Young’s modulus, and the inherent constraints imposed by their structures.
