3.1. Physiochemical Characteristics of the Coating LayerThe macroscopic and microscopic cross-sectional morphology of the coating film layer could easily reflect the coating quality. Figure 2a,b presents the cross-sectional morphologies of the provided layer on the 45 steal substrate in the macroscopic and microscopic views, respectively. Accordingly, the metal coating was densely and uniformly deposited on the surface of the substrate, with a thickness of about 137 μm.
