Martinez swapped spots with Johnathan Rodriguez on to the major league roster and promptly responded by going 5 for 8 with 2 doubles and putting up 1 Out Above Average in his two starts in centerfield so far. The Guardians shut out the Royals 7-0 in a great win, paced by Gabriel Arias's three hits (including a three-run homer) and Angel Martinez's three hits. Both Arias and Martinez also played great defense. Read our Zachary Martin's recap from last night for a more in-depth look. I'm very glad for the Arias-truthers! Hope he can prove me wrong and be good all season.
