    3 hours agoA man has been taken to hospital following a suspected gas explosion at a home in Alvaston, Derbyshire. Emergency services remain at the scene on Eden Street this morning (June 11) after the blast, which happened at 7.24pm on Tuesday evening. The extent of the man's injuries is not yet known, and investigations into the cause of the explosion are ongoing.
