US Vice-President JD Vance has suggested a "good chance" of a trade deal with the UK after President Donald Trump indicated there could be flexibility on tariffs. Mr Vance told the UnHerd website the administration was “certainly working very hard with Keir Starmer’s government”. Mr Trump told reporters “you have to be” flexible with such matters. "You just can't have a wall, and you'll only go, you know, sometimes you have to go around it under it or above it," he said.
