Fans of King of the Hill and Parks and Recreation lost a legend today. Actor Jonathan Joss, who played Ken Hotate on Parks and voiced John Redcorn in King of the Hill, was shot and killed in San Antonio in an act of an alleged hate crime. Joss and his husband reportedly went back to check the mail at their old home that the two still owned. According to Joss’ husband, their neighbor threatened them and it resulted in the neighbor shooting and fatally wounding Joss.

It is hard to live in a world without spoilers. River Song would be struggling to keep the secrets. With Marvel movies leaking and set pictures being taken, we almost always are spoiled on some big reveal. But Doctor Who managed to have a genuinely shocking finale and it’s impressive. Throughout all of season 2 of the Disney+ era, we saw Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor lead with love as he took his companions around the universe.

Oscar Isaac as the ever enthralling Doctor Victor Frankenstein is something that many of us assumed would be hot. It feels good to be right about that. At the event for Tudum this past weekend, fans were gifted with our first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. The film, which is a retelling of the Mary Shelley book, was originally going to star Oscar Isaac and Andrew Garfield. When Garfield could not be Frankenstein’s Monster, Jacob Elordi stepped in and the rest was history.

That’s what got me watching Dangerous Animals multiple times and honestly? It rules. I was lucky enough to head down to Austin, Texas for a special screening of Dangerous Animals this past weekend. Now, you might be asking yourself “Rachel, you’re afraid of sharks. And you willingly saw this movie twice?” Yes.
