On April 13, the Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a resolution for a comprehensive study analyzing the viability of adding toll lanes along a 28-mile stretch of Ronald Reagan Boulevard, spanning from FM 1431 in Cedar Park to I-35 in Jarrell. At the April 21 meeting, the Liberty Hill Independent School District Board of Trustees heard public comments from several parents and teachers expressing their strong support of the ISD’s two-way dual-language program. This unique program, which currently offers two-way, English-Spanish interlanguage and intercultural learning to students, will be phased to a one-way, ESL program starting in the fall as a means of budget reduction, according to Interim Superintendent Travis Motal.
