Of all the Hawaiian Islands, Kaua‘i may be the most recognizable to moviegoers, its dramatic Nāpali Coast sea cliffs and cascading waterfalls having graced the silver screen with the likes of Harrison Ford and George Clooney. It’s an island where chickens run wild, old towns thrive, and the most ‘ono (delicious) foods are found along the roadside. Is plumber-writer a thing? Because I’m daydreaming a life where I’m a plumber during the week and travel writer on the weekends.

Every writer dreams of writing the great American novel. Well, I haven't done that yet, but I did contribute to National Geographic's Great Outdoors U.S.A. It's time to start making a new bucket list—there's 1,000 adventures all over the U.S. to explore. https://t.co/ga08Nxr9Vd https://t.co/Sn5rFjcMQs
