WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Día del Niño is a traditional Hispanic holiday celebrating children which has taken place since 1925. This year’s Día del Niño, hosted in Wichita Falls by Zavala Hispanic Culture Initiative, will hold various activities for children to look forward to, including arts and crafts, book reading, and plenty of other ways to learn while having fun. Esly Pimentel, Zavala Hispanic Culture Initiative Executive Director, said that the tradition celebrates children.
