Not every book series can successfully make the leap to the small screen, but The Expanse, based on the series of sci-fi books written by James S. A. Corey, is a fantastic exception. The show has some incredible episodes where politics, spaceship battles, and personal stories collide, creating an unforgettable viewing experience. The Expanse is special because it’s science fiction, yet it focuses much more on science than fiction. In fact, it's one of the most realistic series set in space ever made.
