1. IntroductionAccording to studies conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases have been one of the leading causes of death worldwide over the past 20 years [1]. More than half a billion people around the world continue to be affected by cardiovascular diseases, which accounted for 20.5 million deaths in 2021, close to a third of all deaths globally [2].
