Purpose To evaluate the peri-procedural and intermediate-term clinical outcomes of thermal ablation of primary and metastatic lung cancer through analysis of a 5-year institutional experience. Methods In this retrospective, IRB-approved study, 55 consecutive lung ablation interventions (33 cryoablation and 22 microwave ablations) performed at an academic medical center from 2017 to 2022 were evaluated.
