1 Introduction Developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs) are among the most severe epilepsies and are marked by drug-resistant seizures, electroencephalogram background abnormalities, and developmental plateauing or regression (Sills 2023; Strzelczyk and Schubert-Bast 2022). Complex polypharmacy remains common for DEEs (Sills 2023; Strzelczyk and Schubert-Bast 2022).
