All I said was he’s made some questionable decisions and I stand by that Obvs doesn’t sort the contracts. But it’s clear both could of/should of been sold to stop this situation happening. Lingard was convinced to stay and hasn’t been played. Rinsing lol. I enjoy debate.

Ole pushed for British signings as part of a ‘cultural reboot’ hence the overpay for Maguire and AWB when it was clear at the time better options were available. Ronaldo was given to him - he didn’t ask for him. And he’s had 3 years to sort Pogba/Lingard situation

Solskjaer doesn’t decide transfer fees. He also has no say in Pogba or Lingard’s contract negotiations. Ighalo was clearly an emergency signing at a time when our strikers were injured so it’s weird to even mention him. Fernandes, Ronaldo, Sancho, Cavani, Varane, Amad 👍

Solskjaer signed 11 first-team players James, Ighalo sold already Overpaid for Maguire, AWB, Telles DVB has barely featured Sold Lukaku + Herrera but gave new deals to Bailly Jones Mata Matic Pogba + Lingard likely to leave for free. Some very questionable decisions

The appointment of Solsjkaer was never about his coaching and tactical acumen and more about his status as a club legend allowing him to be a human shield between unpopular owners with the fans.

This is all part of the problem. Better representation needed in all aspects of life.

There's a section of Man Utd fans who are asking why ex-players won't say Solskjaer should be sacked. It's a waste of time. Why do you need Gary Neville to say Ole needs to go? Neville's opinion does not speed up or slow down any change in the manager.

United should do everything they can to get Ten Hag, Overmars and Van Der Sar. It’s the only way they’d actually achieve a proper cultural reset. Still having no plan b is a shocking dereliction of duty but hardly surprising under the Glazers.

This thread is a fair reflection of Solskjaer’s time at Man United. Although the idea of buying British players (because that was what Sir Alex had) as part of the reset has proven to be an expensive mistake when better players were available than Maguire, AWB, James

Man United in real danger of wasting the best years of their most important players. Dea Gea, Maguire, Varane, Shaw, Pogba, Bruno are all 26+. They need a manager to get the best out of them now.
