(Bloomberg) -- Israel may resume some natural gas exports to Egypt and Jordan as early as Thursday, though any initial volumes will be small, Energy Minister Eli Cohen said. Israel shut down production at its biggest gas field Leviathan on June 13 after it launched airstrikes against Iran, stopping supplies to import-dependent Egypt, which in response reduced flows to several of its industries.

    Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. agreed to sell liquefied natural gas to Malaysia’s Petronas for 15 years starting 2028, expanding the Middle East company’s efforts to become a major supplier of the fuel. The agreement for 1 million tons a year converts a preliminary deal to a definitive sales agreement, Adnoc said in a statement. Adnoc will supply the fuel primarily from an LNG export facility it’s building in Ruwais near Abu Dhabi.
